HS codes, country of origin and goods descriptions for UK Shopify stores that ship abroad.

Since low-value parcels stopped being duty-free (the US ended de minimis in August 2025, the EU is following), every international parcel needs a commodity code, an origin and a plain-words description. Missing data means delays at the border, surprise charges for your customer, or a parcel sent back.

How it works

  1. Audit. The app counts the variants in your catalogue with no HS code, no country of origin or no weight.
  2. Suggest. Each product is classified in two steps: a language model proposes the 6-digit subheading and a customs description; the official UK Trade Tariff then lists the declarable 10-digit UK commodity codes beneath it, and the model picks one. Every code you see exists in the UK tariff.
  3. Apply. One click writes the code and origin to the variant's inventory item — the same fields Shopify, Royal Mail Click & Drop and every carrier app already read.
  4. Pre-flight. New orders going outside the UK are checked item by item; you get an e-mail listing the gaps before you print the label.

Free: 25 classifications, no card. Starter $9.99/month (300 classifications), Growth $19.99 (2,000), Pro $39.99 (10,000) — each with a 14-day free trial, billed through Shopify, cancel any time. Paid plans add automatic classification of new products and the international order pre-flight.

Important

Codes are suggestions, each with a confidence score and the reasoning behind it. You remain the declarant and stay responsible for what is declared; when a classification matters (high duty, restricted goods), check the description on the UK Trade Tariff or ask HMRC for a Binding Tariff Information ruling. We send product titles, types, tags and descriptions to the classification model — never your customers' data.
